  It's worth eating at Got Beef? at least once, even if it's just to see what the fuss is about.
  The food isn't terrible, it's just pricey for what it is and unfortunately as a result falls short of expectations.
  
  The beef patties are thick and roughly hockey puck sized. If you order anything more than the basic burger, you will have problems fitting it into your mouth. Be prepared to eat deconstructed burgers.
  The fries are unremarkable, and can be made more interesting if you order them "dirty", though you may as well just skip to eating cheese and jalapenos straight up.
  
  The floor is incredibly slippery the moment any kind of moisture touches it.
  The seating is uncomfortable and bench based.
  There is not much room between tables.
  The restaurant window is completely unfrosted and the main table faces side-on to it. As such every passer-by turns to look in at an unflattering full-body side view of anyone dining in...presumably as they try to stuff a too tall, too dense and too expensive burger in their face.
  
  A few years ago, Got Beef? would have been the place to go for a burger. But now there are a half dozen or more other places to choose from. Do so.

  First time sampling burgers in Cardiff and so far it's right up there with Three Brothers in Bristol. Really nice burgers and the dirty fries are amazing. Fairly cheap compared to Bristol prices. Bring your own booze so you can get some nice craft beers in the shop a few doors down.
